Chapter 1 General Information Preventive Maintenance Site Master preventive maintenance consists of cleaning the unit and inspecting and clean- ing the RF connectors on the instrument and all accessories. Clean the Site Master with a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with water or water and a mild cleaning solution. CAUTION: To avoid damaging the display or case, do not use solvents or abra- sive cleaners. Clean the RF connectors and center pins with a cotton swab dampened with denatured alco- hol.

Chapter 2 Getting Started A yellow light may occur because the battery became too warm during the charge cycle. The charger will allow the battery to cool off before continuing the charge. A yellow light may also indicate that the charger is alternating charge to each of the two batteries. A blinking red light indicates less than 13 VDC is being supplied to the charger stand. Chapter 2 Getting Started With a new NiMH battery, full performance is achieved after three to five complete charge and discharge cycles. Use only Anritsu approved battery packs.
