English Setup Setup menus Setup The setup menus enable you to configure your EXOTIK for all sources it is connected to, Connecting the loudspeakers in your system and much more. To take advantage of your EXOTIK’s features, please take the time to configure your unit correctly. The first stage in setting up your EXOTIK is to connect your sources, power amp(s) and other peripheral devices to the EXOTIK. Setup English MIDNIGHT MOVIE (EXOTIK+DA) Audio setup This feature allows you to add compression to the Dolby Digital audio signal on DVD-Videos. Adding compression reduces sudden increases in volume, such as the sound of an explosion. It is operated by pressing and holding S SU UR RR R on the handset, then pressing S SU UR RR R to toggle between on and off (see page 20). Positive values move the sound towards the front, negative values towards the rear. If a recording is too spacious or strong from the surround loudspeakers it can be shifted "forward" to get a better balance.
