Setting up your system Caution: Turn off your audio source while connecting the units Connecting the sender To connect the sender to an audio source: 1 Connect a stereo RCA cable from an audio source to the sender taking care to match white and red colors at both ends. Make sure that the cable is connected to an audio source and not a video source. Connecting the speakers Plug the AC power adapter in if batteries are not being used or if the batteries are discharged. Caution: To avoid risk of fire, and to prevent damage, only use the AC adapter supplied with your digital wireless speakers. Make sure that power supply outlet matches the AC adapter’s 120V before making the connection. Installing batteries into the speakers Caution: Do not mix battery types. Do not use old and new batteries together. Remove all batteries if the unit is not going to be used for a long period of time. 1 With the speaker AC adapter disconnected, open the battery cover. 2 Install eight (8) C size batteries taking care to follow the battery polarity markings on the battery compartment. 3 For WS-02, set the Alkaline/NiMH battery switch to the type of C size batteries being used. Using your system Turning on your system To turn on the system: 1 Move the Power switch to the ON position on the side panel of the sender. The green Link Status LED starts to blink slowly to indicate the sender is plugged in and in Standby mode. 2 Press the Power switch on the front panel of the speakers. Maintaining your system Use a soft cloth dampened with a weak solution of mild detergent and water. Dry the apparatus immediately afterwards with a clean cloth. Do not use abrasive cloth, thinners, alcohol, or other chemical solvents, because they may damage the finish or remove the panel lettering.
