Re- moving battery pack will prevent accidental starting that could cause serious personal injury. NOTE: The saw teeth point upward at the front of saw as shown in figure 5. ■ Replace outer blade washer. ■ Depress spindle lock button, then replace blade screw. SPINDLE Tighten blade screw securely. Kickback occurs when the blade stalls rapidly and the saw is driven back towards you. Blade stalling is caused by any action which pinches the blade in the wood.
