FASTENINg SCROLL SAW TO SUPPORTINg Fig. 4 SURFACE This scroll saw MUST be securely fastened to a stand or workbench using the three holes, two of which are shown at (A) Fig. 4. The third hole is at the rear of the machine. An alternate method of securing the scroll saw to a supporting surface is to fasten the scroll saw to a mounting board. INSIDE CUTTINg Inside cutting takes place when the blade is threaded through a hole in the workpiece. With your scroll saw, you can perform this operation quickly and easily as follows: Loosen lock handle (A) Fig. 21, and raise the holddown (B).
