3 SETTING A FREQUENCY ■ Receive mode selection Receive modes are determined by the physical properties of the radio signals. The receiver has 6 receive modes: LSB 3 USB, CW, AM, WFM and FM modes. The mode selection is stored independently in each memory channels. Typically, AM mode is used for the AM broadcast stations (0.495–1.620 MHz) and air band (118–135.995 MHz), and WFM is used for FM broadcast stations (76–107.9 MHz). q Push and hold [TS•MODE] for 1 sec. to enter receive mode select mode.
