Remote control effective range Infra-Red (IR) remote control sensors are located on the front and the back of the projector. The remote control must be held at an angle within 30 degrees perpendicular to the projector's IR remote control sensors to function correctly. The distance between the remote control and the sensors should be from 1 to 8 meters. Make sure that there are no obstacles between the remote control and the IR sensors on the projector that might obstruct the infra-red beam.

Obtaining a preferred projected image size The distance from the projector lens to the screen, the zoom setting, and the video format each factors in the projected image size. The native resolution of the projector is 800 x 600 pixels, which is a 4 to 3 aspect ratio (expressed as 4:3). To be able to project a complete 16:9 (widescreen) aspect ratio image, the projector can resize and scale a widescreen image to the projector's native aspect width.
