Unpacking the Projector After unpacking the projector, make sure you have all the parts shown below: Projector Remote control Documentation Soft carrying case Power cord Computer cable RCA A/V cable USB mouse cable Save all packaging in case you need to ship the projector. 1 Setting Up the Projector This chapter tells you how to set up the projector and connect it to a laptop computer or video source. If you need to connect the projector to a desktop or workstation computer, see Appendix A. Positioning the Projector Before connecting the projector, you need to decide where to place it. If you place the projector below the level of the screen, you’ll have to tilt it up by extending the feet as shown. Tilting the projector upward causes the image to lose its rectangular shape, but the Auto Keystone feature corrects the distortion automatically. If the image does not regain its rectangular shape, the Auto Keystone feature may have been disabled. To turn it on or for more information on keystone correction, see page 27.
