Basic Operation Front Panel Switches “ON/TEST” Button: This switch controls four separate UPS functions: UPS Power ON T o turn the UPS on, press this b utton, hold it for se v eral seconds until you hear a beep, then release it. Battery Replacement Battery Replacement Door: Under normal conditions, the original battery in your UPS will last se v eral years.
