6. Communications 6.1 RS-232 Interface This female DB9 port connects your UPS via an RS-232 cable to a w orkstation or serv er equipped with T ripp Lite softw are. The port uses RS-232 communications to report UPS status and po wer conditions. See printing ne xt to fuse block to locate the correct fuse block for each cable. Insert the battery cartridge fuses into each fuse block.
