About the HD/HDV and SD/DV Specifications Throughout the manual we will distinguish between the video signal standards used by the camera section, and the recording standards used by the recorder section. Preparing the Camcorder Dioptric Adjustment Turn on the camcorder and adjust the dioptric adjustment lever. Prevent direct sunlight from getting in the viewfinder. Using the Viewfinder and the LCD Panel Simultaneously By default, the viewfinder display is turned off while you use the LCD panel. Follow the procedure below to use both of them simultaneously.
