Getting started Step 2 Setting the date and time Set the date and time settings when you use your camcorder for the first time. “CLOCK SET” will be displayed each time that you set the POWER switch to CAMERA or MEMORY unless you set the date and time settings. Step 3 Inserting a cassette We recommend using Hi8 /Digital8 video cassettes. (1) Prepare the power supply (p. 11). (2) Slide OPEN/EJECT in the direction of the arrow and open the lid. Recording a picture Note on LOCK When you slide LOCK to the right, the POWER switch can no longer be set to MEMORY accidentally. The LOCK is released as a default setting.
