PC Doctor for Windows, PC Doctor for Windows PE The diagnostic programs are preinstalled from the factory on your hard disk drive. Two diagnostic programs are available to assist you in diagnosing hardware problems. To enable or disable a device, do the following: 1. Start the Setup Utility program. See “Starting the Setup Utility program” on page 9. 2. From the Setup Utility program menu, select Device. 3. Advanced settings On some computer models, the Advanced menu includes a setting to enable or disable HyperThreading. This feature works only with HyperThreading-aware operating systems, such as Windows Vista and Windows XP. The default setting for HyperThreading is Enabled.
