General Information SECTION 1 Hand-Held Computer Keyboard The hand-held computer provides a 16 key keyboard. All keys with the exception of the I/O key are programmable for individual functions. Figure 1-3 details the basic keyboard layout. SECTION 1 General Information Display This hand-held computer offers an easy to read Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) with touch screen. The display shows status messages, keyed-in entries, customer or prod- uct lists, calculations, and prompts for responses. The touch screen can be used with a stylus, or your finger to choose functions, record signatures, or enter data. Adjusting the contrast setting for the display is done by pressing the gold Shift key and tap either the 1 (increase) or 2 (decrea

SECTION 1 General Information Flash ROM Flash ROM stores the BIOS and BIOS extensions for your hand-held computer. PC Cards Different brands of PC cards can be used in your hand-held computer. Memory cards are available in a variety of sizes and types. Check with your Sales Representative or System Engineer for specific options. Your computer is equipped with three PC card slots.
