Introd uction 1. Introduction With the Nokia Bluetooth Stereo Headset BH-903, you can listen to music and handle calls hands-free on your compatible mobile device. The headset also has a built-in FM radio. You can use the headset with compatible devices that support Bluetooth wireless technology. Read this user guide carefully before using the headset. Intro d uction ■ Bluetooth wireless technology Bluetooth wireless technology allows you to connect compatible devices without <10m cables. A Bluetooth connection does not require that the mobile device and the headset are in line of sight, but the maximum distance between the devices is 10 metres (33 feet). Get started ■ Charge the battery Before charging the battery, carefully read “Battery information,” p. 37. 1. Connect the charger to a wall outlet. 2. Connect the charger cable to the charger connector on the headset. When the charging starts, Charging is briefly displayed on the headset. During charging, a battery animation is displayed. It may take a while before charging starts. If charging does not start, disconnect the charger, and plug it in again. Charging the battery fully may

G e t starte d The fully charged battery has power for up to 11 hours of talk time, up to 150 hours of standby time, up to 11 hours of music playing time, or up to 11 hours of radio playing time. With 20 minutes charging, the battery has power for up to 9 hours of talk time, music playing time, or radio playing time. Get started Pair and connect the headset with a music device If your phone does not support the A2DP Bluetooth profile, you can separately pair the headset with the phone and a music device that supports this profile. If you have paired and connected the headset with your phone, disconnect the headset from it before pairing the headset with a music device. To pair the headset with a music device, follow the instructions in “Pair and connect the headset with a phone,” p. 14. If your music
