Chapter 2 – Getting Started Step 2. Connect Antenna, Ethernet, & Power Antenna Connect a suitable antenna to SMA connector. An antenna is supplied with the bundled package ship kit. Chapter 2 – Getting Started Front Panel LEDs Once the power is connected, the LEDs on the front panel will provide information about the Ethernet functions and the wireless modem functions. The front panel of the Ethernet EDGE has a power LED, 3 Ethernet LEDs, 5 modem LEDs, and a SIM card slot. The front panel of the Ethernet GPRS is the same as the Ethernet EDGE. The front panel of the Ethernet CDMA has the same LEDs as the EDGE modem. However, it does not have a SIM card slot.

Set Your PC’s TCP/IP Address for Ethernet Functionality Once the wireless account is established and the modem is properly connected, it is now time to set up the PC for the Ethernet functionality.
