1 Introduction This unit is a BD player allowing playback of BDs, DVDs and CDs. In addition to the basic operations on the main unit and using the remote control, the player is also equipped with an RS-232C-compatible serial control interface allowing connection to a computer. This manual explains procedures and cautions related to controlling the player using this interface. For instructions on using the buttons on the remote control and front panel, refer to the operating instructions

3.3 Error Messages If an error is generated while a command is being executed, an error code such as "E04" on the table below is returned.
