EMX-1 EasyStart Getting Started – Basic Overview of Knobs, Switches and Panel Layout / Preload The EMX-1 is very simple to use, once you understand the basic layout. EMX-1 EasyStart Changing Tempo 1. To change the tempo of a pattern, press the key once so that the LCD screen shows Tempo and its value, and then use the Value Dial to change the tempo value.
