Power Sources Using Batteries: Insert two 1.5V AA batteries into the battery case. Note: Your player will be damaged if you try to charge non-rechargable batteries. Take batteries (non-rechargable) out when the external power is being used. Remove batteries if the player is not going to be used for a long time. Do not mix new batteries with old ones. Using the Program and the Repeat Modes You can use the program mode to create a sequence of songs in a custom order. 1. Press FORWARD or REWIND to select the track number to program. 2. Press REP/ENT once to add the track to the sequence. 3. If you want to delete the last track you programmed, press REWIND until the number decreases by one. 4. Using Directories When dealing with the capability for hours of music, obviously you are going to want some form of organization. Max-300 MP3/CD Player supports multiple directories for organizing the tracks on your CD. Tracks are arranged in alphabetical order by directory. For example, the tracks in a directory labeled “Beatles” will play before the tracks in the directory labeled “Pink Floyd”. The tracks in the directories are also played in alphabetical order. Using the DIR PROGRAM mode You can use the DIR Program mode to easily add all of the tracks in a specified directory to a sequence. 1. Press the PLAY MODE button until DIR PROG displays in the screen and the DIR No. is flashing. 2. Using FORWARD or REWIND, select the directory you want to add. 3.
