OPERATION Using the Mixer 1. Before handling the beaters, make sure that the mixer is not plugged in to an electrical outlet and that the speed control switch is in the “O” off position. Insert the beaters by holding the hand mixer handle in one hand and then pushing the beater stem into the opening, rotating slightly until it locks into position.
