HOW OUR DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY WORKS The MEDALIST™ emits invisible, eye safe, infrared energy pulses. GETTING STARTED INSERTING THE BATTERY Lift the battery door tab and remove the battery door. Attach one 9-volt alkaline battery and replace the battery door. NOTE: Use only high quality alkaline batteries. Do not use heavy duty or lithium batteries. It is recommended that the battery be replaced at least once every 12 months. Low Battery Indicator (Lob): If the letters Lob appear, the battery charge is getting low and the 9-volt alkaline battery should be replaced. OPERATIONAL SUMMARY

LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY (LCD) INDICATORS Your MEDALIST’s LCD incorporates illuminated indicators that advise the user unit of measure, when the laser is actively firing, when a target has been acquired, and targeting modes.
