Replace the cover before you restore power or reconnect the modem and network cables. To replace the pen point: 1 Use the replacement tool to grab the old point and pull it out of the pen. 2 Insert a new point and apply slight pressure to set it in place. www.gateway.com 8

Replacing the optical drive 2 Remove the optical drive latch screw, then slide the optical drive release latch next to the optical drive screw. Screw 3 Slide the old drive out of the convertible tablet PC. 4 Slide the new drive into the convertible tablet PC.
