Polycom SoundPoint IP 450 User Guide Using the Polycom Web Configuration Utility This user guide explains how to update phone settings from your phone, using your phone’s menu system. If you want, you can update these settings remotely with the Polycom Web Configuration Utility. The phone’s Web Configuration Utility enables you to view and configure phone behavior from a computer using any compatible Web browser. The utility provides a browser-friendly view of your phone’s current settings.

2 Using the Basic Features of Your Phone Your Polycom® SoundPoint® IP 450 phone is designed to be used like a regular phone on a public switched telephone network (PSTN). You call place a call, transfer a call to someone else, or conduct a conference call. At any time, at most one active call may be in progress on your phone.
