To Charge A Battery Using The Ring Connectors: 4 6 5 1 3 2 1. Make sure the transmission of the vehicle is in “PARK” and the emergency brake has been set. Also, turn off the engine of the vehicle prior to connecting the Battery Charger to the battery of the vehicle. 2. Attach the RED/POSITIVE (+) Ring Connector of the Permanent Connection Cord (4) to the POSITIVE battery terminal of the vehicle. 3. TROUBLESHOOTING 1. Problem: The Battery Charger is plugged into an electrical outlet, but no lights on the Main Unit (1) are illuminated. 2. Possible Solutions: A. Check to make sure the Power Cord (2) is properly plugged into a working 120 volt, grounded electrical outlet. B. Check to make sure the connections to the vehicle’s battery posts are secure. C.
