HOOK-UP GUIDE Phone Connections Hook-Up Phone connections provide surge protection against damaging voltage surges and spikes coming from the phone line. This PowerCenter also incorporates a phone splitter for convenience. HOOK-UP GUIDE Remote “DC In” Control Hook-Up This feature connects your PowerCenter to an automated Home Theater control system or allows another component with a Remote “DC Out” connection to automatically turn on and off your PowerCenter. A) Plug the AC power cable of the component you are using to control the PowerCenter into an unswitched outlet on the PowerCenter. HOOK-UP GUIDE Rack Mounting Your PowerCenter This Monster PowerCenter includes two “rack ears” mounting plates for installation into a standard size equipment rack. 3 A) Remove your PowerCenter trim covers using a ⁄32 or 2.5 mm Allen (Hex) key (not included). Turn each Allen screw counter-clockwise until the screw is completely removed. B) Align one rack ear over the two holes on the left side of the PowerCenter. Using the Allen key, turn the two screws clockwise until tight. Repeat this step
