Introduction The Wireless File Transmitter WFT-E2 II is an accessory for EOS-1D Mark IV camera. It gives the camera wireless and wired LAN functionality and adds a USB port, enabling the following operations. Attaching to the Camera Turn off the camera before attaching the transmitter. Ensure the camera battery has sufficient charge. If the charge drops below 19%, you cannot transfer captured images or back them up to external media. Open the terminal cover on the camera. 1 Open the extension system terminal cover and turn it toward the bottom. Getting Ready [FTP trans.], [EOSUtility], [WFTserver] The connection instructions help you follow the steps to connect the transmitter to an existing wireless or wired LAN.
