IMPORTANT: Although this unit is delivered in a partially charged state, you must fully charge it with the supplied 110/120 Volt AC charger for a full 24 hours before using it for the first time. You cannot overcharge the unit using the AC charger method. 1) Use only the supplied cords/adapters for recharging this unit. Do not recharge for more than 3-4 hours maximum using 12 Volt DC method. 2.1 EASY, STEP-BY-STEP JUMP-STARTING INSTRUCTIONS This jump-starter is equipped with an automatic safety switch that only allows jump-start energy to flow when proper connections are made to battery and frame. The automatic switch works in conjunction with an audible reverse polarity alarm and a large red LED. If inadvertent reverse polarity occurs, the alarm will sound and the red LED will light. 3.2 12 VOLT DC CHARGING 1. Insert one end of the DC/DC charging adapter into a 12 Volt DC accessory receptacle on the vehicle or boat. 2. Insert the plug at the other end of this charging adapter into the 12 Volt DC accessory socket receptacle on the front of the unit. 3. Charge the unit until the green FULL indicator lights when Charge Switch Indicator Button is pressed. DO NOT EXCEED 3-4 HOURS MAXIMUM. 4. 5. EMERGENCY WORKLIGHT The Worklight is controlled by an On/Off switch. Make sure the lamp is turned OFF when the unit is being recharged or stored. The lamp is efficient and will operate up to 114 hours on a full charge. The CCFL lamp’s operating life is 100,000 hours. 6. 6.2 TIRE INFLATION OR PRODUCTS WITH A VALVE STEM 1. Place connector (chuck) on valve stem. 2. Push connector toward valve stem and close thumb latch. 3. Make sure connector is pushed onto valve stem as far as possible before closing thumb latch. 4. Check pressure with the pressure gauge. 5. When desired pressure is reached, turn OFF Compressor Power Switch. 6. Open thumb latch and remove connector from valve stem. 7. Store compressor hose and tire fitting in storage compartment.
