By supporting the pipes, not only the pipe vibration is reduced but also the damage to the pipes by the electromagnetic flowmeter's weight and the fluid mass (see Figures 4.2 and 4.3). 6 F 8 A 0 9 3 4 4.2.2 Installation Procedure To mount the LF516/LF546, place it between the upstream and downstream pipe flanges and tighten it with flange bolts and nuts. See Figure 4.4 and follow the procedure below: 1. Insert two lower mounting bolts through the clearance holes in the upstream (or downstream) pipe flange. 2. Install a packing next to the upstream (or downstream) flange face and the other packing next to the downstream (or upstream) pipe flange. The two mo
