Cooling System Maintenance and Service Important service notes: Do not operate the engine without coolant in system. Do not remove the radiator cap when hot. Draining Cooling System 1. Stop the engine and allow it to cool sufficiently. 2. Unhook the four retaining straps, and remove the upper blower housing and screen assembly. See Figures 8 and 9. 3.
