Pre-Installation Checklist Does your mounting location have at least ® one wall stud? Is your view of the mounting location free ® of glare or other obstructions? Is the location of your wall stud or masonry surface ® suitable for repositioning your display? Is your mounting location near an AC power outlet? ® Ideally, the outlet should be behind your TV. Preparing to Install the FlatScreen Mount Remove all pieces of the FlatScreen Mount to ensure you have all the necessary parts. 1) Remove the mounting system from the mount box. 2) Remove the No. 5 Allen wrench (the smaller of the two) from the supplied parts bag. 3) Locate the bracket connecting the mounting system’s ™ Z-Fold swing arms to the TV mounting plate. Installing the Mounting System Remove all pieces of the mounting system to ensure you have all the necessary parts. Be sure to choose a mounting location with convenient access to an AC power outlet.
