A. Procedure: (1) Disarm the alarm. (2) Turn the ignition switch ON/OFF 4 times within 15 seconds. (3) Within 15 seconds, hold the first transmitter, and then push buttons #1 and #2 together until 1 chirp confirms the code is learned (approximately 4 seconds), and that all previous transmitter codes have been deleted. TROUBLE SHOOTING In most cases, rare operational difficulties are the result of a weak transmitter battery. Below are the guidelines for solving the majority of the problems you may encounter. GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS Important: Disconnect the fuse from alarm's red wire before beginning the installation. 1. The alarm comes with a U-shaped mounting bracket which provides a solid mounting for the main unit.
