Getting started General precautions • To avoid serious injury, never disassemble the machine. Exposed power points inside the machine can cause electrical shock if you touch them. • Never turn off the power switch (or disconnect the plug) or remove the paper cassette during printing. Either can cause the fax machine to jam. • During thunderstorms, disconnect the machine’s plug from the AC power outlet (remember the instruction above: if the machine is printing, wait until the printing ends). You
