Front Panel The DX4500/DX4600 front panel allows you to operate the DVR without having to use the remote control or mouse (refer to Figure 2). Figure 2. Remote Control The DX4500/DX4600 remote control allows you to operate the DVR without having to use the mouse or front panel controls. System Overview As the next generation DVR, the DX4500/DX4600 is the solution for small to multiple-site applications. The DX4500/DX4600 remote client-to- server connectivity allows operation from a remote location and can connect up to 16 servers simultaneously. The remote client also can be used to operate and administer individual servers. Cameras from the networked servers are easily dragged and dropped on to the remote client application window for viewing up to 16 images simultaneously.

Equipment Placement and Rack Mounting The DX4500/DX4600 can be placed on any flat surface (desk or table), or it can be mounted in an equipment rack.
