Step 2 : Setting up the remote commander Inserting the batteries Insert two size AA (R6) batteries by matching the + and – on the batteries to the diagram inside the battery compartment. Getting Started Controlling other TVs with the remote commander The remote commander is preprogrammed to control non-Sony TVs. If your TV is listed in the following table, set the appropriate manufacturer’s code number. Set TV / DVD·VIDEO at the top of the remote commander to TV. 1 Hold down ?/1, and enter your TV’s code number using the number buttons. 2 Then release ?/1. Getting Started Step 5 : Selecting a language You can change the on-screen display language. SET UP Before you start… Turn on the DVD-VCR and your TV. Step 6 : Setting the clock You must set the time and date on the DVD- VCR to use the timer features properly. The Auto Clock Set function works only if a SET UP station in your area is broadcasting a time signal. Before you start… Turn on the DVD-VCR and your TV.
