Getting started! Charge the rechargeable battery before using. Even if the rechargeable battery is not charged, you can use the recorder as long as the AC power adaptor is connected. 1 Insert the rechargeable battery. Using on a dry battery Insert one LR6 (size AA) alkaline dry battery (not supplied) instead of the rechargeable battery. Notes • If you press CHARGE (x) immediately after charging has completed, charging will begin again. If this happens, press CHARGE (x) again to stop the charging operation since the battery is already fully charged. Charging stops when you try to operate the recorder during charging.
