Installation Hardware Installation NOTES Connecting to computer • Make sure you have a personal computer with an open USB port or IEEE 1394 port before connecting the drive to your computer. • You cannot use the FireWire [IEEE 1394] and ON OFF USB interfaces simultaneously. • Power for all device should be turn off before attaching the cables. Removing the USB converter cable The drive supports the plug and play(not swap) function of Windows, and can be removed and inserted by performing the following operation. 1.
