Use Pioneer CC-12 cable for PC & compatibles with a DB-25 connector. Use CC-13 cable for PC & compatibles with DB-09 connector. It is connected with three lines: One line transmits commands from the computer to the player to control operations. Another line transmits status responses from the player to the computer. CLD-V5000 Level II • Chapter Two 2.3 Function Switches The CLD-V5000 videodisc player has eight physical dip-switches on the rear panel of the player (See Figure 2-G below.) The switches are set as follows when the player is shipped from the factory: Switch 1 and 4 are DOWN (ON) and Switch 2, 3, 5, 6, 7and 8 are UP (OFF). Chapter Three ¥ CLD-V5000 Level III 3.3 Initial Settings The internal registers and switches are set to the following conditions when power is turned on. The settings are not re-initialized when the player is put into Park or Door Open Mode. Do not forget to set them to the parameters needed when creating an application program. Some of the switch settings can be set only via Register Commands under computer control; others can be set by using the DIP Switches on the rear panel of the player or
