Rear Panel 1 Analog Outputs In most installations, you will want to use both the analog and the digital outputs of the CDP-300. Doing so will allow you to take full advantage of high resolution multichannel formats such as DVD-Audio, while also passing the multichannel digital output to your A/V preamplifier when that is more appropriate. 4 Digital Outputs The CDP-300 has three digital outputs, all of which carry the same information. You may use whichever connection you prefer, consistent with the available connections on your A/V preamplifier/processor.
