The DLX series dishwashers (SHU 3012 UC and SHU 3016 UC) come with a lower rack that has two sets of flipped down tines. With these models, ff more space is needed for pots and pans, the rear two sets of tines can be folded to the down position. After filling the detergent compartment close the cover by sliding it over the detergent chamber and pressing down on the button until it dicks shut. The detergent will be dispensed automatically during the wash portion of the cycle. If the cover of the detergent dispenser is closing fully but it won't latch this is most likely due to the dishwasher having been stopped in mid cycle. OPERATION Once detergant has been added and before closing the door of the dishwasher chock the wash arms to ensure that they are free to move.
