The ES-1 is an easy to use and unique rhythm production sampler that uses DSP synthesis technology to allow anyone from beginners to professionals to create truly original music. A Rhythm Pattern is a sequence of rhythms (i.e., the timing at which a sound is heard) for an individual part. You can use the sixteen step keys to modify the rhythm pattern of each part. If you do not want to loose the factory preset patterns, purchase a TM SmartMedia card and save the data (p.55) to create a backup.
