Design Spot 575E™ 5. LAMP INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS For a proper and safe lamp change, please read this chapter carefully and follow all instructions. Safety Regulations • Disconnect the unit’s main power supply. • Allow the unit to cool for at least 20 minutes before attempting any type of service. • Before you put the Design Spot 575E™ into operation be sure all covers have been replaced, otherwise you risk damage to the retina and expose to UV radiation! • Replace the lamp wi

Design Spot 575E™ 3. To reduce a hot-spot, pull the lamp in by turning all three screws clockwise a 1/4-turn at a time until the light is evenly distributed. 4. If the light is brighter around the edge than it is in the center, or if light output is low, the lamp is too far back in the reflector. MOUNTING AND INSTALLATION Cautions: For added protection mount the fixtures in areas outside walking paths, seating areas, or in areas were the fixture might be reached by unauthorized personal. Before mounting the fixture to any surface, make sure that the installation area can hold a minimum point load of 10 times the device’s weight. Fixture installation must always be secured with a secondary safety attachment, such as an appropriate safety cable.

This is a universal protocol used by most lighting and controller manufactures as a form of communication between intelligent fixtures and controllers.
