Install Batteries and Check Battery Power Use two CR1 23A or DL 123A type lithium batteries with this 1 camera. (Other batteries cannot be used.) Turn off the main switch and open the battery 1.1 chamber cover. Insert batteries with the "EB" and "8 " ends 1.2 positioned as marked inside the battery chamber cover, then firmly close the battery chamber cover . • Incorrect positioning of EB and e poles may cause damage to the camera. 14

Set Focus Mode Selector to AF When the focus mode selector is set to AF (autofocus), the 4 camera focuses automatically. Set the focus mode selector to AF (autofocus). 4.1 • Make sure to turn the focus mode selector until it clicks into position. • To focus, lightly press the shutter release button. (See page 24.)
