Inserting the Batteries The camera is powered by two AA-size alkaline batteries or rechargeable NiMH batteries. 1 Open the battery cover. Slide the battery cover in the direction indicated by the arrow. 2 Insert the batteries. Setting the Display Language / Date & Time When using the camera for the first time after purchasing, be sure to choose a language and set the date & time before using the camera.
