Chapter 2: Hardware Setup Chapter 2: Hardware Installation The following details the hardware installation procedure for WebCAM IP camera. Step 1: Connect the PC camera into the USB port of WebCAM. Step 2: Connect the WebCAM to LAN by using the Ethernet UTP port. Chapter 3: Web Interface 2.1 To View Video To view video from the connected camera, click on either ActiveX or Sun Java. Choose either Camera A or B to view the video. By default the first USB camera connected to WebCAM will be Camera A Note: ActiveX can only function in Windows platform and a plug-in has to be installed on the client's computer. Click the record button to start video recording. It also lists the login time and total bytes received. Note: Administrator privilege is required to view and use Block IP.
