6 Playable Discs and Videotapes Playable Discs The DVD Player of this TV/VCR/DVD will play many types of Discs, including Digital Video Discs (DVDs) and Audio Compact Discs (CDs). It will play MP3 files as well. To play a DVD, make sure it meets the requirements for Region Codes and Color Systems as described below. First-Time Setup, Watching TV 11 The TV/VCR/DVD can memorize available TV channels. If you are using a Cable Box or Satellite Receiver, you do not need to set channels at the TV/VCR/DVD. Set the TV/VCR/DVD to the output channel of the Cable Box or POWER PICTURE SLEEP SELECT Satellite Receiver (channel 03 or 04). 12 Playing a Videotape Follow these steps to simply play a videotape. Videotape play- back options are on pages 32-38. 20 Setting the Clock Manual Clock Setting You must set the TV/VCR/DVD clock before you can do a timer recording. Set the clock manually when first setting up the TV/VCR/DVD. Afterward, Auto Clock will correct the POWER PICTURE SLEEP SELECT time automatically if necessary. If you do not receive a PBS station that carries time signals, 123 you cannot use Auto Clock. Use manual clock setting. Set CH. 456 AUTO CLOCK to OFF. The TV/VCR/DVD will not update the time. The time will remain as you set it
