Setup Charging of the Handset Battery The handset of your cordless telephone is powered by a rechargeable battery. It charges automatically whenever the handset is in its charger. You should charge the battery for 10-12 hours when you first receive your phone. Registration Your IP 811 is an accessory handsets for use with the IP 8100-2/8100-3 base unit. To register your IP 811 for the first time: 1.
