The battery recharges automatically when the handset is placed in the base unit. GETTING STARTED Setting Menu Options There are five setup options available. They are Caller ID options [AutoTalk, CIDCW (Caller ID on Call Waiting), Area Code], Dial Mode and Language. AutoTalk allows you to answer the phone without pressing talk/flash. If the phone rings when AutoTalk is On, simply remove the handset from the base and the phone automatically answers the call.
