Entering Text from Your Handset You can use the number keypad on your phone to enter text by referring to the letters printed on each number key. When you press the number key in a text entry field, the phone displays the first letter printed on the number key. Connecting the Base and Charging the Handset 1. Connect the AC adapter to the DC IN 9V jack. CAUTION: To avoid risk of fire and shock, only use the Uniden AAD-041S AC adapter. 2.
