The battery recharges automatically when the handset is placed in the base unit or charging cradle. IMPORTANT Use only the Sanyo rechargeable battery pack supplied with your cordless telephone. Charge the handset battery packs for at least 15-20 hours before using your new cordless telephone for the first time! To

If the phone is not in use, ¨Low Battery¨ appears on the LCD and none of the keys will operate. If the phone is in use, ¨Low Battery¨ flashes and the handset beeps. Complete your conversation as quickly as possible and return the handset to either charging cradle for charging. Notes:

Connect the base unit and charging cradle and charge the handsets Route the cord. 1 Connect each AC adapter to the DC IN 9V jack and to each standard 120V AC wall outlet. 2 Set the base and charging cradle on a desk or tabletop, and place one handset in the base unit and the other in the charging cradle. 3 Make sure that the CHARGE/IN USE and CHARGE LED illuminates. (It does not matter which handset you choose to place in the base unit first.) You will also need to register the second handset by placing it in the base cradle. The second handset WIL

They are Automatic Talk, CIDCW (Caller ID on Call Waiting), Area Code, Dial and Language. Automatic Talk allows you to answer the phone without pressing the TALK/FLASH key.
