INSTALLING THE HANDSET BATTERY NOTE: You must connect the handset battery before use. 1. Connect battery pack plug to jack inside compartment on base. NOTE: It is important to maintain the polarity (black and red wires) to the jack inside the compartment as shown in the illustration. RECORDING THE OUTGOING ANNOUNCEMENT For best results when recording, you should be about nine inches from the microphone, and eliminate as much background noise as possible.
